You will understand the project’s form as a working tool and you will be able to complete more effective projects when having participated on Project Management 1.
You can choose to either participate in this course physically or virtually depending on the selected date. Read more about the two options and how these are conducted here.
On the course you will work on:
- Understanding the working method of the project
- Applying methods for managing and ensuring progress
- Working with the project triangle (time, resources, content)
- Developing stakeholder analysis
- Applying the project toolbox
- Developing a business case
- Formulating objective(s)
- Organising and planning your work
What is a project?
A project is a one-time task that is limited in time, content (deliveries) and resources and that has its own project organisation. The number of these kinds of tasks is increasing.
The project’s working method puts great demands on the project manager and the project group – demands that you will find it easier to meet if you acquire the tools that Project Management 1 provides you with.

Course Guarantee
You can still purchase a course or education at Mannaz. We are currently hosting several virtual courses, and once the assembly ban and restrictions allows for us to do so, we will resume hosting our courses physically.
You can safely book your course with us
Regardless of how the corona crisis develops, you can count on your course with Mannaz. We will not cancel, but due to the current restrictions, we might have to reschedule the course for another date. We call that course guarantee.
Mannaz is a solid organisation
We have excisted since 1975 and have IDA (The Danish Society of Engineers) as a solid and stabe owner. You can count on us – also when the crisis is over. Therefore we do not hesitate in providing course guarantee.
The course deals with topics that are relevant for all types of projects. This could be in-house company tasks or tasks associated with collaboration with customers and other stakeholders outside the company. The course is practical and combined with theory, and you will be working with typical situations in a project process based on a general business case. The facilitation is a mix of preparatory digital learning modules as well as plenary and group work.
The course is held either with physical attendance or as a virtual course – it depends on the selected course date. If there are currently no virtual options in the list of course dates, they will come up soon.
What kind of digital learning does the course consist of?
Regardless of whether you participate in the virtual or physical version of the course, you will complete a pre-test prior to the course. This test informs you about which of Mannaz’s digital learning modules you should complete as preparation. You must also fill out a DiSC-profile online.
Once you have completed the selected e-learning modules, you will again complete a post-test, which allows the instructors to target your needs and your level of competence as accurately as possible. It is expected that you spend ½ -1 day on the preparation for the course.
Virtual course
The content of the virtual course corresponds to the content of the physical course. It is merely the format and the practical implementation that differs.
The course consists of a virtual kick-off session, 3 virtual course days, and a final 2-hour session with follow-up and exam questions, which takes place approximately 1 month after the course. All sessions are held in Zoom or Teams.
At Mannaz, we have extensive experience with virtual learning, and the course is designed to ensure that you get the maximum benefit. We can therefore guarantee that you receive the same benefit as you would have on a physical course.
The course is composed of short presentations, interactive group work in virtual breakout rooms, discussions in the “virtual plenum”, several short breaks, and a long lunch break. We then focus on the effect of your learning in the follow-up session.
Internal courses
All our courses can be taught at your location. Internal courses have financial advantages and shared learning creates a sense of community within your organisation.
The course is taught for your company exclusively and so adapted to your wants and needs such as wether the course should be hosted virtually or physically.
This course is also available in Danish
All our English courses have an established Danish version. Internal courses can be taught in either Danish or English as well as physically or virtually – depending on your preferences.
