Learn the PMI® terminology and gain an understanding of the project environment
There is an increasing demand for documentation of your knowledge and your skills. One of the most recognised documentations for your project management knowledge and skills is PMI’s PMP® certification.
Over the last few years, the requirements for passing the PMI® project management examination have increased significantly. You are expected to possess solid practical experience and a high level of theoretical knowledge, and you must also be able to combine your experience with theoretical knowledge.
The exam demands more than just learning by heart and you will not pass the exam simply by reading the “Guide to PMBOK”. In other words, you need to understand and master all the elements associated with the PMI terminology and the mindset behind it.
You will gain:
- An overview of the scope of the examination
- Tips and tricks for understanding the examination
- A document with the most important messages, processes and tools for each knowledge area
We will review all knowledge areas of the project management model, with a focus on answering all the examination questions correctly. What do you need to be aware of during the various phases?
We will review examination techniques, how to read and understand the questions, and how you can optimise your answering method, and we will also review the theory from the first two modules.
We will practise about 300 exam-related questions, discuss the PMI® mindset based on the answers and look at how to translate this into professional project management.
Get ready to take the PMI® examination!
You will get a continuous assessment mark indicating your chances of passing, where to focus your energy when studying for the exam, what your strengths and weaknesses are, and what is required to get the answers right.
You must book the exam yourself directly with PMI (omi.org), and it usually takes place a couple of weeks after the course, thereby allowing you time to fine-tune your knowledge before the exam.
If you pass the exam, you may call yourself a PMP (Project Management Professional), which is an internationally recognised and protected title.
The price is DKK 19,900, excluding VAT for Module 3 (Exam Prep).
You will be given the books for the training and access to the course materials used by former participants in the training.
The module is conducted by Danish facilitators who are all PMP®-certified and have many years’ experience in project management.
PMI®, PMP®, and PMBOK® are registered trade marks of Project Management Institute, Inc.
