Learning since 1975
Mannaz was founded in Denmark as DIEU in 1975 specifically focusing on leadership education, and to this day our Consulting and Learning services are focused on enabling real impact and empowering people, organisations and society.
Practice-oriented learning
New knowledge is only valuable when it comes into use. All too often we give in to the habit, and do not get to use our new knowledge enough. Therefore, all learning at Mannaz is closely related to practice. We strive to always take starting point in concrete and relevant cases and examples, and so ensure that new knowledge easily transfers into new solutions, behaviour, relations, and new habits.

The meaning of the word Mannaz highlights our people-centric ethos. It is both Old Norse for “human being” and the name of the ancient Nordic rune letter that symbolizes “people.” Not only does the English word “man” (mankind) originate from Mannaz, but it is one of the oldest and most authentic renderings for the notion of human. The Mannaz logo is intentionally handwritten to underscore the focal point of our business – the unique human being.
