Lead with clarity: From embodied awareness to collective transformation

Develop your ability to lead with awareness, centred presence, clarity, empowerment and positive impact.

This course combines embodied practices with leadership development to help you shift from limiting habitual reactive patterns to intentional action. Learn to align your thinking, emotions, and body, strengthen self-leadership, and navigate complexity with confidence.

Build the capacity to engage others, work with differences, and create shared direction. Move from inner clarity to collective leadership that is grounded, adaptive, and impactful.

The programme

The course takes place over two consecutive days. You will experience a mix of teaching and group exercises, where you will have the opportunity to discuss concrete experiences and challenges.

Pre- and post-exercises and materials will help you prepare in the best possible way for optimal learning and provide ongoing resources to support you on your journey to becoming a embodied leader.

During the programme, you will, among other things, work with:

Shifting from reaction to choice through embodied centering

Participants practice centering techniques under light physical and relational pressure to move from automatic “fight/flight” responses to conscious choice – developing the core capacity of acting with awareness in complex situations rather than relying on reflexes or habit.

Expanding awareness beyond the head into full body intelligence

Through movement, posture, and breath work, participants explore how different “ways of attending” (head, heart, gut) change perception and action. This connects with the idea that using a variety of sensemaking techniques is necessary to access better decisions.

Translating awareness into intentional, aligned action

Exercises in physically directing energy and intention help participants experience how clarity is not just mental but embodied. This builds the bridge from awareness, to alignment, to action that underpins transformation.

Working with resistance as a source of insight, not a barrier

Through partner exercises involving light physical and conversational resistance, participants learn to meet tension without collapsing or forcing and experiment with different ways of responding; such as openness, inclusion, and more resourceful engagement. This is relevant because “difference and friction are often where better possibilities emerge.”

Practicing advocacy and speaking with grounded clarity

Participants build the ability to communicate their intentions clearly and confidently without aggression, even when challenged.

Recognizing and shifting habitual patterns in real time

By exploring triggers in dialogue and movement, participants observe how ingrained patterns.

Developing relational awareness and shared sensemaking

Exercises such as giving and receiving physical support (e.g. hands-on back support) build sensitivity to others’ states and perspectives & help participants experience trust, connection, and the impact of relational dynamics.

Leading collectively as a dynamic, shared process

Participants engage in movement-based leader – “follower” exercises, exploring how leadership emerges in relationship, how resistance is negotiated, and how shared direction is co-created rather than controlled.

Facilitating alignment and shared intention in groups

Participants apply embodied presence in group dialogue, practicing how to create clarity, inclusion, and forward movement as collective leadership arises from how we show up, attend, and interact.
