Mannaz has collaborated with Egis since 2018 on their Complex Project Management Program for future and newly appointed project directors of the group’s major projects. Since then, almost 100 project directors have enhanced their management and leadership skills from the program for the benefit of major civil and infrastructure projects in France, UK, Middle East and South America.
After four consecutive runs, and more to come, Mannaz has developed an international network of senior project managers/directors with solid project leadership competencies being able to lead major projects with focus on client satisfaction, project team development, multi-stakeholders’ interaction, self-awareness and contract management.
Egis has achieved an international pool of project directors capable of leading large complex projects to the benefit of their clients and the organization.
In the context of Egis Group’s growing internationalization, it was necessary to change the previous training program to enhance the skills of future project directors of Egis’ major projects. These project directors will lead projects that are increasing in complexity, multi-business, multi-domain and multi-country, interfacing with numerous stakeholders.

Egis Academy contributes to developing Egis talents by delivering programs of excellence in the areas of leadership, management, business development, project management and technical expertise.
Those programs also aim to promote transversality and accelerate synergies for Egis development at a global scale.
Mannaz was successful in winning the contract for re-designing and delivering of the new Complex Project Management Program. “Mannaz has many years of experience designing and delivering project management programs” says Thomas Rønholt, Client Director in Mannaz, “but this was a challenging assignment to customize a complex program for senior French and international participants”.
The program has developed continuously since 2018 and takes advantage of several different learning methodologies to achieve the best possible outcome. The complete learning journey for the participants include digital self-paced learning, interactive virtual learning sessions, relevant articles and videos, self-assessment tools as well as face-to-face training with practical reflective exercises.
The program is compatible with training requirements for international certification standards (PMI, IPMA, Prince2).
Egis and Mannaz have now completed 4 runs of the Complex Project Management Program with very satisfying results. The program and content have been updated and adjusted continuously to consider the changing circumstances. “A program very well received by the participants” says Thomas Rønholt, “but also a program that has been under constant development”.
The Complex Project Management Program is an integral component and contributor to the Egis managerial competencies framework around focus on clients, acting as a business leader, working collectively and developing self and others.
Quote Vincent Salisbury – Major projects coordination director and sponsor of the Complex project Management training program:
Mannaz has highly contributed to the success of this strategic development program.
Their good knowledge of the engineering sector, capitalization of leadership best practices oriented towards project management and up-to-date pedagogical approach has made this training effective and directly applicable for our newly appointed project directors.
