The aim of the CBL programme

The aim of the CBL is to help you, with a wide variety of prior learning and experience, to establish a common framework of knowledge and understanding of your organisation – which is both integrative and strategic.

This is done through a broad variety of learning experiences. Furthermore, the aim is to acquaint you with fundamental skills that are required by all managers: the ability to manage people and performance, the ability to manage processes, systems and project, the ability to understand financial resources and make the right decisions – and the ability to continuously develop yourself as leader to meet future leadership challenges successfully.

You will experience stimulating concepts and new thinking and this is applicable in your day-to-day work as manager. The results will be visible, important and tangible.

The duration ensures balance, anchoring and implementation

The CBL programme lasts 12 months + exam and is constructed in a way that gives you the opportunity to learn and develop while still maintaining the important balance between study, work and family.

As a participant on the CBL you are expected to use an average of 15 hours in total per week. The duration of 12 months is also important in terms of anchoring the leadership knowledge and personal development, since this process is different from the process of acquiring and anchoring theoretical business knowledge. The first requires more time.

More over, during the CBL programme you are able to work on and implement the acquired knowledge in your home organisation – and through this involve and develop your colleagues and/or the organisation as a whole.

Qualification for Henley MBA

Henley is one of the few institutions in the world to have received triple accreditation from the major awarding bodies en the UK (AMBA), the US (AACBS) and Europe (EQUIS) – and Henley is the only business school in Denmark with a triple accreditation. Accreditation is a guarantee for you to obtain one of the best executive educations in the world.

The CBL is qualifying in terms of transfer of credits for the Henley MBA. This means that, when you have passed the CBL, you can continue directly to Stage 2 (Diploma) of the Henley MBA – and onwards to Stage 3, providing you with the full Henley MBA. You can to take Stage 2 and 3 whenever it aligns with your career and your life as a whole – the only limitation is that it must be within two years from your execution of the Executive CBL programme.

The programme level of the CBL is similar to that of an MBA and has been carefully selected and planned by the faculty of Mannaz and Henley.
